Only one week to go before the very first SMHAFF/Aye Write weekender! We’re hugely excited to welcome a selection of fantastic literary names to chat reading, writing, reality and mental health with us at the Mitchell Library 18-19 Oct, including Alasdair Gray, Denise Mina, Don Paterson, Sophie Hannah, Jenni Fagan and many more!

Literature has always been a key part of the Festival, but this is the very first year SMHAFF and Aye Write! have teamed up to present a packed programme over one weekend– a whole new beginning for literature at the SMHAFF and for Aye Write! throughout the year in Glasgow.

The written word has a unique role to play in exploring the many different facets of mental health. These 2013 literary events on the theme of ‘reality’ promise to demonstrate just how many of our ideas about ourselves can be wrapped up in words.

As part of this special inaugral weekend, we’re pleased to be offering a limited number of Friday and Saturday Festival Passes, allowing you to book for multiple events for just £10 plus booking fee. A steal! Just click here to get hold of your Friday Festival Pass.

You can see the full line-up for the Aye Write! weekend here. See you there!
