The numbers are in and the Festival team are delighted to announce that this year’s Festival drew crowds of 16,000 at over 300 events in 17 regions across Scotland, making it the busiest SMHAFF to date!

We are also pleased to report a big increase in engagement with Festival messages online, with more people than ever signing up to receive the SMHAFF news letter, record web hits and a big spike in followers on Facebook and Twitter. The fabulous SMHAFF 2013 trailer has also had a record number of views since it launched at the end of September, If you are one of the few that hasn’t managed to see it yet then you can view it on our home page.

Although the Festival is over for another year, we have some exciting announcements coming up over the next few months so keep up to date on Facebook and Twitter. Our International Film Submission will also be launching in December.
