Applications are open for Film Hub Scotland’s New Producers programme! New Producers offers four paid placements with established film organisations in Scotland, between July – November 2025.

The placements allow early-career film event producers to gain vital experience in programming, marketing and delivering accessible, inclusive film screenings.

Placements are available with Macrobert Arts Centre (Stirling); Scottish Documentary Institute (Edinburgh); Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival (Glasgow) and North East Arts Touring – NEAT (Banchory).

The placement with the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival will involve working with our experienced team to contribute to our overall programme and curate a series of regional film screenings across Scotland. This focus will enable the successful candidate to develop experience in partnership working, venue liaison, event production, and negotiating screening rights, while developing a distinctive, community-focused strand in the programme.
