Are you a freelance artist or mental health professional working in arts and mental health?
Creative Scotland is currently developing an Arts and Mental Health Framework, to highlight the existing activity of those who work at the intersection of arts and mental health, and enable us to find a shared direction and vision of what we collectively want.
The Mental Health Foundation is supporting this work (which is funded via The National Lottery and The Baring Foundation) along with We Are Here Scotland and Arts Culture Health and Wellbeing Scotland.
We are looking for freelance artists and mental health professional and those with lived experiences to collaborate, create and actively shape the framework. You may create your own work about mental health, deliver mental health themed participatory creative programmes, or create work that enhances health environments.
We want to ensure that the voices of freelancers are heard in this process as clearly as people working for arts organisations, so we are inviting arts and mental health freelancers to an online event co-hosted by Andrew Eaton-Lewis from the Mental Health Foundation and Catherine Middleton Findlay for Creative Scotland.
