A welcoming, hands-on ceramics workshop designed to bring people together through creativity, conversation and making.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some experience, this relaxed session invites you to slow down, get your hands on clay, and enjoy the process of shaping your own unique bowls.
Led by an experienced ceramic artist, the workshop offers gentle guidance and practical demonstrations to help you explore different hand-building techniques. You’ll learn how to form, texture, and personalise your work, all in a supportive and informal environment where there’s no pressure to be perfect — just a chance to experiment and have fun.
At its heart, Banter Bits, Bowls & Pots is about connection: expect plenty of chat, laughter, and shared creativity as you work alongside others in a peaceful space. All materials will be provided, and your finished pieces will be professionally fired, ready to collect after the event.
Workshop Schedule
- All pieces of work produced on during the first session will be kiln fired before the second session, where you will decorate them with coloured underglaze.
- All pots will be glazed and kiln fired again for a glossy finish.
- After the second session, participants will be contacted when all pots and bowls are ready for collection.
