Bipolar Edinburgh unveil a new artwork commissioned especially for the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival, offering a unique insight into living with bipolar.
Bipolar Edinburgh offered a small commission to support an artist based in Scotland to create a visual artwork exploring bipolar. The commissioned artwork will be unveiled and the artist will be invited to talk about how they developed the work and realised their creative vision.
This is a hybrid event taking place at The Melting Pot with the option to join on Zoom.
Various research studies demonstrate strong links between mood disorders and creativity. Many people living with bipolar pursue creative activities regularly to improve their wellbeing.
