Gathering around the fire at Angus Ceilidh House, attendees will be encouraged to share and listen to local stories and folklore, including a selection of bothy ballads. The event title ‘Carrying the Fire’ comes from a very old Scottish folk tale about a creature who keeps the fire of his ancestors burning and takes it with him wherever he goes. Together hosts and participants will be encouraged to share stories from their experiences, knowledge and home.
