d. Marta Espar & Maiol Virgili (Spain, 2022) 1h 13m

In this insightful feature doc from directors Marta Espar and Maiol Virgili, three contemporary dancers collaborate with three women diagnosed with mental disorders to explore the boundaries between normality and madness through a shared creative process in the Basque Country. Their journey together challenges societal taboos, blending personal experiences with mental health into a transformative dance performance that questions the very definitions of “normal” and “madness”.
This film contains themes of self-harm and suicide.

Directors Marta Espar and Maiol Virgili will take part in a Q&A following this screening.
