A creative art workshop to explore and express feelings about the impact of the cost of living crisis through collage and poetry with a local artist, Gael Hillyard.

This workshop will provide a creative space for people to explore and express their feelings about the impact of the cost of living crisis through collage and poetry. Participants will have an opportunity to transform their experiences into meaningful art, in a way that can be reflected on with joy, hope and resilience at difficult times. How art can be used for healing and self-expression and how words can make feelings clearer will be explored with using writing to complement images.

Gael Hillyard has kindly offered the use of her workshop studio at the Creative Academy in Inverness and a Mental Health Carer Link Worker from Connecting Carers will co-host the event. Refreshments will be available. There will be a small breakout area should anyone want a quieter space.
