Flowers can bring comfort—a vase of wild blooms on the kitchen table, or the scent of a flower that reminds us of someone we love or miss. But they can also stir emotions and memories that feel more complex.

In this relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop, we’ll explore both sides of comfort and discomfort through the creative process of flower arranging. You’ll create two small, contrasting arrangements: one soft, calming, joyful or playful; the other more raw, unexpected or bold. You’ll experiment with colour, texture, shape and scent, discovering how each element can shift the mood of a piece.

This is also a chance to step outside your usual creative style. Maybe you prefer things tidy and controlled, or maybe you always go free and wild. We’ll encourage you to try the opposite—just to see what happens. It’s not about being perfect; it’s about expression, curiosity and discovering something new.

All materials are provided, along with refreshments and a warm, welcoming space to create and chat. Come along—alone or with a friend—to reflect, connect and make something perfectly imperfect, beautiful and maybe a little messy.
