Take part in this free creative workshop – aimed at adults with experience of mental health issues from diverse communities across Edinburgh – to explore the theme of ‘revolution’ and ‘art as activism’.

Delivered in the Fruitmarket Studio, this workshop will use art as a tool to support the mental health and wellbeing of participants, offering an opportunity to learn new creative skills, help build confidence and self-esteem, make new friends and share life experiences.

The Fruitmarket is an accessible building with level access throughout the ground floor, lift access to the first floor and three wheelchair accessible toilets. Guide dogs, hearing and registered assistance dogs are welcome, and we have a portable hearing loop system with headsets.

Our Studio has a kitchen and an accessible toilet, fitted with support handrails, pull cord emergency alarm, colostomy shelf and baby change facilities. We also use WelcoMe, the free disability awareness tool that allows you to request visits to the Fruitmarket in advance, indicating any specific assistance you might require upon arrival and during your visit.
