Shining a light on mental health communities in Scotland and Ireland, these films celebrate the creativity, resilience and personalities at their heart. These pioneering community spaces offer opportunities to stay connected through music, painting and walking, taking diverse approaches to supporting people in their recovery.

The Healthy Minds Happy Babies group in East Lothian supports women with postnatal depression, who are also survivors of childhood sexual abuse.

An Unbeaten Path, Geraint Hill, UK, 36m
Andy Shaw, a former Royal Marine Captain who suffered from undiagnosed PTSD for 30 years following the Falklands War, now runs a one-on-one experience to help PTSD sufferers begin their path to recovery.

An Open Door, Aoise Tutty, Ireland, 15m
A vibrant documentary set in a pioneering community space, which comes alive through music, performance and shared experiences.
