This powerful exhibition brings together a collection of original mixed-media artworks created by members of the Mental Health Services Carers Forum from across Ayrshire.

Guided by Michelle Wright from Winslow Art, carers have explored their experiences through a creative process that encouraged self-expression, reflection and connection. Each artwork is deeply personal, representing an individual journey of caring for someone experiencing mental ill health.

Together, these pieces and provide a powerful insight into the often-unseen experiences of mental health carers and highlight the vital role they play in supporting recovery and wellbeing. The exhibition celebrates the strength and determination of carers. It offers an opportunity for visitors gain a greater understanding of their experiences, and recognise the importance of compassion, support and community in mental health. Through art, these carers share their stories in a way that is both meaningful and uniquely their own.
