What is the cost of working in documentary filmmaking? How does it impact our mental health and how do we ensure care and safeguarding for ourselves and each other throughout the filmmaking process and beyond? This lunchtime open forum conversation will centre on the latest DocuMentality report exploring the ways in which documentary filmmaking is impacting our mental health. Nibbles will be provided.

Speakers include Rebecca Day from Film in Mind, Dr. Leshu Torchin from the University of St Andrews, and Glasgow-based filmmakers Theo Panagopoulos and Heather E Andrews.

This event is part of the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival’s Focus on Film programme, taking place in Glasgow from 16-19 October.
