Creative Nature for Wellbeing
A series of workshops exploring the connection between our mental health and our relationship with nature.
The Beacon is partnering with Belville Community Garden Trust and Mind Mosaic Counselling and Therapy to deliver a series of workshops exploring the connection between our mental health and our relationship with nature.
Workshops will be led by Kate Stevens, the Beacon’s Creative Learning Co-ordinator, who will guide you through exercises in writing, soundscapes, and guerrilla art. The workshops will be supported by Gwyneth from Mind Mosaic Counselling and Therapy, leading on mental health, and Laura from Belville Community Garden Trust, leading on connecting with nature.
Participants will book the block of workshops to foster an environment of connection among the group. The workshop is open to anyone and you don’t need to have experience before attending. The workshops are well supported and will encourage a friendly, warm, and safe atmosphere.
Participants will need access to the outdoors during the project, a laptop/computer/tablet with Zoom software downloaded, and some paint or permanent marker pens.
