Explore journaling as a tool for queer healing and creativity in this workshop for any LGBTQIA+ folks, led by Sophie Lake (she/her) from LGBT Health and Wellbeing.

Whether you journal every day, or have never journaled before, this will be a chance to explore the art of journaling, and its role in queer experiences.

Journaling is a commonly used tool for a variety of mental health support and self-care. It is both a creative practice and an instrument for change and healing.

In the workshop, we will talk though and experiment with a range of journaling techniques such as freewriting, prompts and thought diaries, as well as different platforms and methods of journaling (voice recording, blogging, picture journals etc.).
