An online open mic for writers, poets and storytellers with the festival theme of ‘Revolution’. Part of a regular series run by Mad Jam for those within and outwith the mental health community. 

Come as an audience member or performer (or both!). All spoken word performances are welcome and slots of up to 5/10/15/20 minutes are available.

We aim to provide a safe and welcoming environment for all participants. A totally inclusive organisation run by and for those within and outwith the mental health community, Mad Jam Open Mic has been running in-person and online events since 2016 and spoken word-only open mics online for two years.

On Zoom there are no geographical boundaries and we have regular performers from across the UK and further afield. These nights are always thought-provoking and entertaining and Mad Jam takes pride in the diversity and range of work presented. The audience is always supportive and encouraging.
