Mind the Gap is an exhibition of photographs which explores individuals’ feelings of trauma, anxiety, loneliness, sensory overload, confusion or fear, accompanied by the written thoughts of those affected.

This exhibition from The Delilah collective of photographers aims to make visible the invisible feelings of individuals who have experienced poor mental health, based on what the photographers have been told by the individuals themselves or by what they have witnessed directly with family or friends.

“As concerned photographers we cannot cure or alleviate mental suffering (except perhaps accidentally), but we can bear witness.”

Some images and texts directly refer to mental health issues, such as suicide prevention, and some are more oblique.
