If you live with anxiety, you’re not alone. It’s one of the most common mental health issues. The good news is that you can learn to cope.

Tune into Mindful Voices, Ten for Zen’s series of three short podcasts, to hear Martin Stepek, one of Scotland’s foremost teachers of mindfulness, speak to people who have lived with anxiety as they share their stories and give their own real life coping strategies on their journey to good mental health.

Using his own experience, Martin gently finds out about their lives and how anxiety plays a part, so you can hear their stories in their own words. He’ll discuss with each of them how they cope, to give you ideas and inspiration for your own journey to mental well-being.

With a love of the arts and a real belief that it plays a large part in his own peace of mind, Martin discusses how creativity – whether it be music, poetry, drawing – can help reduce anxiety and can be used as a very effective coping strategy.

Mindful Voices is a great way to hear from real people, with real life issues. We hope that by listening to our guests talk openly about their struggles with anxiety, you can see that you are not alone and any mental health struggle is nothing to be ashamed of and can be openly talked about.
