Get ready for a motivating day of community, creativity, and celebration at the return of Moving Minds!

This family-friendly event, produced in collaboration with Glasgow’s vibrant communities, promises a kaleidoscope of artists, musicians, and organisations showcasing their talent.

As audiences gather, performances will enchant, creative works will captivate, workshops will inspire hands-on making, and sharing food will nourish connections.

This year’s theme ‘Revolution’ inspires the event held at Civic House.

• Glasgow’s own queer choir QUOIR are set to thrill with an evocative set.
• Filmmaker Bircan Birol unveils her new documentary short, we depend on each other, made in alliance with women of refugee and immigrant histories as one of our 2023 artist commissions.
• Photography project Living Well by MS Argyll, in association with Mental Health Foundation, will spotlight the mental health of those living with long-term health conditions.
• Roundabout will create a display of zines and audio material created through the Mental Health Foundation’s Reclaiming Our Heritage project.
• Original poetry stirs with meaning as Maryhill Integration Network members will recite their communal truths.
• Singer-songwriter Raveloe will weave musical magic.
• Writer Mel Reeve will lead an electrifying drop-in zine-making workshop throughout the day for all ages to ignite their creative power.

To help bring the day together with the intention it is created with will be Parveen’s who are providing delicious food inspired by Pakistan.
