Our Power is a Mental Health Foundation project exploring the mental health impact of racism, particularly racist microaggressions, through creative peer support workshops. Textiles, zines, haiku with drawing and painting, and installations created over the past year by people with lived experience of racism have been co-curated into an exhibition by project participants.
Come along to the exhibition launch to view the artworks and to hear from event participants, staff and artist facilitators about their experience of the project and learnings on the topic. We hope to create a relaxed atmosphere where refreshments will be served, and participants can celebrate their involvement and achievements.
