The Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival has published Participatory Arts and Mental Health: A Good Practice Resource.
The resource is designed to support people who want to create and deliver participatory arts and mental health projects in the most safe, supportive and nurturing way possible.
It was written by Andrew Eaton-Lewis, the Mental Health Foundation’s Arts Programme Officer, who spent a year talking to artists and organisations across Scotland who have worked on participatory arts and mental health projects.
This online event will bring together some of the artists and organisations who contributed their expertise and experience to the resource, as well as anyone else who is interested in its findings.
There will also be an in-person launch event at Civic House in Glasgow on Friday 11 September from 11am–4pm. Lunch will be provided. Find out more and book tickets here.
