Our Power is a Mental Health Foundation project exploring the mental health impact of racism, particularly racist microaggressions, through creative peer support workshops.

People with lived experience of racism have created artworks over the past year using textiles, poetry, ceramics, screen printing, drawing and painting. They have co-curated this exhibition to convey their everyday experience with the most impact.

At the launch event, project participants, project staff team, and artist facilitators will all speak about their experience of the project and share their learnings about the topic.

We hope to create a relaxed atmosphere where refreshments will be served and participants can celebrate their involvement and achievements through the project. Attendees will also have a chance to explore the art exhibition themselves.
