Members of Reverb, a youth arts programme at Strathearn Arts, share their perspectives on mental health and social media through a public exhibition and temporary art trail.
In a series of artist-led workshops, the group will explore contemporary art alongside themes of digital culture, identity, connection, isolation and mental health. The young people will lead the creative process, choosing the subjects and materials for their work and deciding whether to work individually or collaboratively.
The participants will also curate the exhibition, selecting display locations across Crieff. Their work will transform local shops and the large library windows at Strathearn Community Campus and Crieff High School into accessible exhibition spaces, inviting the wider community to reflect on young people’s experiences of social media and mental health.
