Stop Being In/Visible is a co-produced exhibition of work by artists with learning disabilities, exploring what mental health means to them. Historically, the mental health of people with learning disabilities has often been overlooked. This exhibition aims to bring conversations about mental health to the fore and celebrate what is important to the artists.
Each artist has been part of an Art for Wellbeing group run by local creative arts facilitator, Rosa Eisenberg. The artists have created this work as a means of exploring aspects of themselves, and the ways in which the environment and others contribute to their mental wellbeing.
