The Bone and Guts People are working in collaboration with socially engaged artist and arts therapist Seamus Killick. Their work is concerned with myth-making, archetypal symbolism and communal gathering. With the participation of artists Maya-Rose Edwards and Angel Walker, the workshops have evolved over the space of 8 months in Greenock.
The Bone and Guts People is a youth-led project. It explores various materials, including photography, ceramics, and textiles, with the aim of challenging binary systems which seek to limit us.
At the heart of the bone and guts lies the discussion and connection that comes from creating with others. This exhibition is a richly visual archive of these moments and experiments.
