An exhibition showcasing work by the Stay Seen Collective, an eclectic group of artists who use the power of their creativity to raise awareness and funds for the charity SOHTIS – Survivors of Human Trafficking in Scotland.
Each artist in the Stay Seen Collective believes in a Scotland where everyone is able to live free from fear with dignity and respect. By exhibiting and selling artworks, the Stay Seen Collective aims to raise awareness and fund for SOHTIS, the leading anti-trafficking charity in Scotland.
Identified human trafficking has tripled in Scotland in the last five years and there is widely accepted concern that the problem is significantly higher than is represented in the national data. Human trafficking is much closer to home than most people realise – cases have been identified in each and every one of the 32 Local Authority areas in Scotland.
Human trafficking is a crime often hidden in plain sight – together we can change that!
