This workshop invites participants who work in caring and creative health settings to spend an hour exploring gentle wellbeing exercises.
The workshop begins with a light directed physical group warm-up, taking time to notice any muscle tension and work to feel grounded in our bodies, ready for some creative exploration. We’ll then move on to creative activities with a focus on playfulness and grounding, finishing with a group check-out, preparing you to step back out of the studio and get on with your day.
No experience in dance necessary — come as you are! This is not a therapy session, and participants will not be asked to disclose private material. The workshop will be informed by reflective practice, while acknowledging that this is a one-off event.
I enjoyed the delivery and the stable energy. Loved the tools used, and I can see myself giving them a try at home.
