“With a lot of arts, it can circumvent, or it can go round the outside of, you know, traditional pathways of talking and responding. And there’s so much that can happen non-verbally.”
“I think the arts are a medicine for mental health, really. Whether there’s anything diagnosable or not, I think everybody goes to a concert, or the cinema, to make ourselves feel better.”
