You’re invited to a vibrant evening of spoken word, fuelled by food and fierce new writing from young people in West Lothian.

Our Spoken Word Supper Club is created by Firefly’s young artists in collaboration with Leyla Josephine, one of the UK’s most celebrated spoken word performers.

Join us for a cabaret-style evening of new writing and performance while breaking bread. The event reflects this year’s festival theme, Comfort & Disturb, creating a space where performers can explore difficult truths, while celebrating resilience, identity, and solidarity. It offers comfort to those who are often overlooked, and challenges stigma in the wider community.
